Gather Resources on Limited Land
Working with Island Constraints
Islands in Ocean Core are small and resources are limited. You can't rely on finding massive forests or ore veins like in normal worlds. Plan your resource gathering carefully.
Prioritizing Materials
Start by harvesting all accessible wood on your island. Use it to craft tools and a crafting table. Then mine stone, coal, and any exposed ores. Because islands are small, you'll exhaust surface resources quickly.
For deeper mining, dig straight down or create a mine shaft on your island. You'll reach the same ore distribution as normal Minecraft, so diamonds and other valuable materials are still available—you just need to dig deeper.
Sustainable Gathering
Farm trees by planting saplings. Create a small farm for crops using dirt from your island. Hunt animals for food and materials. Consider building a mob farm or fishing setup, since the ocean surrounding you is an infinite resource for water-based drops.
Don't waste materials on unnecessary projects. Every block of wood and stone matters when you're on limited land. Plan builds carefully before committing resources.
