How to Craft and Use the Obsidian Bow

Gathering Bow Materials

The Obsidian Bow requires Crying Obsidian blocks and Obsidian Gems. Crying Obsidian can be found in the Nether or crafted using the mod's survival recipes. Collect enough materials before approaching the crafting table.

Crafting the Bow

Arrange your Crying Obsidian blocks and Obsidian Gems in the crafting table following the mod's recipe pattern. The preview will show you the correct layout. Once complete, you'll have a powerful ranged weapon.

Two Firing Modes

The Obsidian Bow features two distinct firing abilities. Hold the bow to charge and select your attack mode—experiment with different hold durations and release timings to discover both abilities. One mode typically fires standard arrows, while the other delivers a special obsidian-enhanced strike.

Combat Tips

Use the Obsidian Bow for ranged advantage in dangerous situations. Combine it with the Dark Chestplate for a complete obsidian loadout. Keep arrows in your inventory since the bow consumes them like a standard bow.
