Switch Between Notification Styles

The mod offers multiple placement options for track information. You can choose the location that best suits your gameplay style and screen layout.

Available Positions

• Hotbar Pop-up (default): Appears above your hotbar at the bottom center
• Toast Notifications: Appears in the top-right corner, stacking like advancement notifications
• Status Bar: Displays as a temporary message in a dedicated status area (if enabled)
• Disabled: Turns off visual notifications entirely

Steps

1. Open the Now Playing Mod configuration menu

2. Find the Notification Style, Display Position, or Pop-up Type option

3. Select your preferred location from the dropdown menu

4. Save and return to the game

5. Start a new music track to see the notification in its new position

Fallback Behavior

If your chosen style isn't compatible with your setup, the mod automatically switches to toast notifications. For example, if hotbar messages fail to render, you'll see toasts instead. You can manually force a fallback by selecting toast mode in the configuration.
