How to See Boat Rowing Animations in Third-Person

What You Get

When you sit in a boat and row, Not Enough Animations gives your character a full rowing motion. Your hands and arms move as if gripping and pulling oars, instead of the stiff vanilla pose. Other players in the same world see the same animation.

How to Trigger It

1. Place a boat on water and right-click to board it.

2. Switch to third-person view with the view-toggle key (default F5).

3. Move forward using the forward key. Your character should now perform a rowing motion with the arms.

4. Try turning and reversing to see the animation continue smoothly.

Tips

  • The animation is most visible from behind or to the side, so pick a camera angle that shows your arms.
  • It works for any boat type, so you can use it while exploring oceans or rivers.
  • If you are recording, third-person rear view gives the clearest look at the rowing cycle.

If Nothing Happens

Confirm the mod is loaded and that no other animation mod is overriding player poses. Boarding a boat with the mod active should always produce the rowing motion.
