How to Skip the Pop-Up Warning When Applying an Outdated Resource Pack

The Warning You Are Skipping

When you click a resource pack that the game considers outdated, vanilla shows a confirmation dialog warning that the pack was made for a different version and may cause problems. You must click through it every single time you apply the pack. The mod removes this prompt so the pack applies immediately.

Applying a Pack Without the Prompt

1. Go to Options → Resource Packs.

2. Click the outdated pack in the "Available" column. It moves to "Selected" without a dialog appearing.

3. Click Done. The pack loads on the next resource reload.

4. If you still get a prompt, the mod is not active in this instance. Check the Mods screen and confirm it is enabled, then restart the game.

5. If you are on a version where the mod is present but the prompt persists, another mod that overrides the resource pack screen may be conflicting — test with only this mod enabled.

Reordering and Stacking Packs

You can freely drag packs up and down the Selected list to control load order, and you can stack several outdated packs together. Each one applies without a warning. Packs higher in the list override packs lower down, so put your most important pack at the top.
