Using the Mod on a Server That Requires Reporting

Client Side Only

This mod runs entirely on your client. It does not change server-side reporting behavior, and it does not stop a server from logging chat or from enforcing its own rules. What it does is remove the button from your menu so you cannot accidentally open the reporting screen.

What Still Applies

  • Server rules about chat conduct still apply. Removing the button does not remove the consequences of what you type.
  • Server-side logging and moderation tools are unaffected. The server can still see your messages.
  • Other players who do not have the mod will still see their own report button.

Practical Notes

If a server explicitly requires you to keep the report button available, installing this mod may put you outside that server's expectations even though it is technically client side. Read the server's rules before joining. If you are unsure, test on a singleplayer world first to see the menu change, then decide whether to keep the mod enabled for that server profile. You can toggle it per instance by moving the mod file in or out of the mods folder.
