How to Stop Advancement Pop-Ups and Chat Messages

Suppressing the Pop-Up

Advancement pop-ups are the toast notifications that slide in from the top-right corner when you complete a challenge. No More Pop-Ups removes these by default, so if you are still seeing them, open the config via ModMenu or Cloth Config and confirm the advancement pop-up toggle is set to off. Save and close.

Hiding the Chat Announcement Too

Separately from the toast, Minecraft also prints a line in chat when you earn an advancement. This is controlled by its own toggle, which is disabled by default in this mod. To silence the chat line as well, enable the "advancement messages in chat" option in the config. Once on, the mod suppresses those chat entries while leaving the toast behavior governed by its own toggle.

Verifying the Result

Earn a simple advancement (craft something, break a block for a milestone) and watch both the corner of your screen and your chat box. If the toast is gone but chat still shows a line, revisit the config and check the chat toggle. If both are gone, you are set. Note that server-side advancement broadcasts from other players are a separate mechanic and are not affected by your client config.
