No More Pop-Ups Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I open the No More Pop-Ups Mod settings?
Open ModMenu from the mods list and click the config button next to No More Pop-Ups, which opens the Cloth Config screen. If you don't have ModMenu, the config file can be edited manually in your config folder.
Why are pop-ups still showing after I installed the mod?
Most likely the mod isn't loaded, or you're on a version where the pop-up you're seeing isn't covered yet. Check the mods list to confirm it's active, then look in the config to see whether that specific pop-up is toggled off.
Does No More Pop-Ups Mod work on servers?
It's a client-side mod, so it works on any server without needing to be installed server-side. Other players won't be affected by your settings.
Can I re-enable just one pop-up instead of all of them?
Yes. Each pop-up type has its own toggle in the Cloth Config screen, so you can turn individual ones back on while keeping the rest suppressed. Open the config and flip the switch for the specific pop-up you want to see again.
How do I stop advancement pop-ups but keep the chat messages?
In the config, leave the advancement pop-up toggle off and make sure the advancement chat message option stays disabled. The chat message toggle is separate and disabled by default, so you only see chat announcements if you turn it on.
What's the difference between the advancement pop-up and the advancement chat message?
The pop-up is the toast that slides in from the corner of the screen, while the chat message is the text line that appears in the chat box. No More Pop-Ups removes the pop-up by default and leaves the chat message alone unless you enable that option.
Will this mod break other mods that add their own pop-ups?
No, it only targets vanilla Minecraft pop-ups and warnings. Pop-ups added by other mods are handled by those mods and won't be affected by No More Pop-Ups.
Does the mod affect performance or FPS?
It's a lightweight client-side mod that just suppresses UI elements, so it has no meaningful impact on performance. If anything, removing pop-ups slightly reduces rendering work.
How do I get the resource pack warning back?
Open the config and re-enable the resource pack warning toggle. It's off by default because the mod suppresses it, but you can turn it back on if you want to see the warning when loading a world with a resource pack.
Can I turn off the multiplayer warning without disabling everything else?
Yes, the multiplayer warning has its own toggle in the config. Disable just that one and leave the other pop-up settings as they are.
