How do I find meteors after installing this mod?
Meteors still spawn in your world, but they're now buried just below the surface or in water instead of creating craters. Look for slightly raised or sunken areas of terrain, check underwater near cliffs and ocean floors, or use the guides you already have for locating them.
Do meteors still spawn in my existing world or only in new chunks?
Meteors spawn in newly generated chunks after you install the mod. Pre-existing chunks won't have the mod's meteor behavior applied, so you may need to explore further out or create a new world to see the safe spawn mechanic in action.
Can I still get all the AE2 materials from buried meteors?
Yes, buried meteors contain all the same materials as normal meteors—the mod only changes where they spawn, not what's inside them. You'll mine them the same way you normally would.
Will this mod protect my base if I'm standing near where a meteor spawns?
The mod prevents crater damage by burying meteors safely, so your structures won't be destroyed by the impact. However, if a meteor spawns directly under your base, you may still need to mine it out to access the materials.
Do I need to configure anything after installing No More Craters?
No, the mod runs automatically with default settings and requires no configuration. It starts protecting your world as soon as you load it.
Can meteors still spawn on top of my buildings with this mod?
