Capture Your Axolotls for Travel

Before heading out, use water buckets to capture the axolotls you want to bring. Each bucket holds one axolotl. Store them in your inventory—they'll remain safe and won't despawn, even during long journeys.

Release Them at Your Destination

When you reach an underwater location you want to explore, empty the buckets into the water. Your axolotls will emerge and stay in that area indefinitely. You can leave them behind without worry; they won't disappear.

Use Them as Permanent Outpost Markers

Axolotls serve as excellent landmarks for underwater bases or mining operations. Release them in specific locations to mark important sites. Since they never despawn, you can always find your way back by locating your axolotls.

Bring Them Home

When you're ready to return, recapture your axolotls with water buckets and transport them back to your main base. This mod makes axolotls reliable exploration companions—they're always available for your next underwater adventure without the risk of losing them to despawn mechanics.
