Find End Portal Frames in a Stronghold

Locating Strongholds

End Portal Frames naturally generate inside Strongholds, which are buried underground in your world. To find one, craft or obtain Ender Eyes and throw them into the air. Each eye will fly toward the nearest Stronghold before disappearing. Follow the direction they travel.

Navigating to the portal room

Strongholds are complex maze-like structures. Once you've dug down to the Stronghold, explore its corridors and rooms. The End Portal Frame blocks are always found in a specific chamber called the End Portal Room, typically in the center or deeper sections of the structure.

What you'll see

The portal room contains 12 End Portal Frame blocks arranged in a 3×3 square pattern (with the center empty). Some frames may already have Ender Eyes in them from previous players or natural generation.

The mod's effect here

Even though frames exist in Strongholds, placing an Ender Eye into any of them will trigger the theft mechanic. An Enderman will spawn and steal that frame block, making it impossible to complete the portal naturally. This is the mod's way of permanently blocking End access across your entire world.
