No End Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I stop Endermen from stealing my End Portal Frames?
Place End Portal Frames in a protected area using claim blocks, a protective mod, or by building in a location where Endermen cannot spawn. Alternatively, you can place frames in a confined space where Endermen have no room to move after grabbing the block.
Why can't I complete my End Portal?
No End Mod spawns an Enderman whenever you place an Ender Eye into an End Portal Frame, and that Enderman immediately steals the frame block you just clicked on. This makes it impossible to finish the portal and access The End dimension.
Can I get my stolen End Portal Frame back?
You can track down the Enderman that stole your frame and defeat it to drop the block, but the Enderman may have wandered far away. It's often easier to find replacement frames in a Stronghold or prevent theft by protecting your portal area.
Where do I find End Portal Frames if mine get stolen?
End Portal Frames naturally generate in Strongholds, which you can locate by following Ender Eyes thrown from Eyes of Ender. You'll need to navigate underground and find the Stronghold structure to collect replacement frames.
Do I need to do anything special to activate this mod?
No End Mod activates automatically once installed—the Enderman stealing mechanic triggers whenever you try to place an Ender Eye into any End Portal Frame without any additional configuration needed.
Can I disable No End Mod for just one player or area?
This depends on your server setup and whether you're using additional mods or plugins; No End Mod itself doesn't have built-in per-player or per-region toggles, so you'd need to remove the mod entirely or use a separate permission system.
What happens if I try to place frames in The Nether instead?
No End Mod only affects End Portal Frames in the context of building an End Portal; placing frames in The Nether won't trigger the Enderman theft mechanic since the mod specifically targets End Portal activation attempts.
Does this mod affect Endermen behavior anywhere else?
No End Mod only changes Enderman behavior when an Ender Eye is placed into an End Portal Frame—regular Endermen in the world act normally and won't steal other blocks.
Can I use commands to complete an End Portal if frames keep getting stolen?
Commands cannot bypass the mod's core mechanic, but you could use creative mode or admin commands to teleport directly to The End if your server allows it; however, this defeats the mod's intended purpose.
Does No End Mod work with other dimension mods?
No End Mod specifically blocks access to The End dimension; it should not conflict with mods that add other dimensions, but compatibility depends on how those mods interact with End Portal mechanics.
