How to Remove the Enchantment Glint from All Items
What This Pack Changes
This resource pack targets the enchantment glint overlay that Minecraft draws on top of enchanted items. Instead of editing each item texture, it replaces the glint texture itself with a fully transparent one. That means every enchanted item — tools, armor, weapons, books, and anything else that normally shimmers — loses the purple sheen while keeping its enchantments fully functional.
Steps to Apply It
1. Make sure the pack is placed in your resource packs folder. If you are unsure where that is, open the game, go to Options, then Resource Packs, and click the button that opens the pack folder.
2. From the main menu, open Options and select Resource Packs.
3. Find the pack in the left-hand Available list and move it to the right-hand Selected list.
4. Place it above any other packs that also touch item textures, so its glint change is not overridden.
5. Click Done and let the game reload resources.
Verifying It Worked
Enchant any item at an enchanting table, or hold an already-enchanted tool. The item should look completely flat and matte — no shimmer, no moving highlight. If you still see a glint, another resource pack is likely overriding it, so move this pack higher in the load order and reload.
