Making Sneak Animation Mods Work Together Without Conflicts

Where conflicts come from

No Double Sneak edits how the sneak transition is rendered. Any other mod that also touches the player model, camera height, or crouch pose can fight it. Common culprits are first-person model mods, camera overhaul mods, and animation libraries that replace the vanilla player renderer.

Sorting out a conflict

1. Reproduce the problem: sneak in third person and note whether you see doubling, a frozen pose, or a snap.

2. Disable other animation or camera mods one at a time, restarting between changes, and re-test after each.

3. When the doubling disappears, you have found the conflicting mod. Check its config for options that control crouch or player-model rendering and turn those off rather than removing the mod entirely.

4. If no config option exists, decide which mod matters more to you. For pure desync fixing, No Double Sneak is the narrower tool, so it usually wins.

5. Re-enable everything else and confirm the fix holds during a lag spike, not just on a quiet server.

Order of operations

Load order rarely matters for a client-side animation fix, but config toggles do. Change one setting at a time so you can tell which change actually solved it.
