Fixing Sneaking That Looks Broken to Other Players

Why others see you crouch twice

MC-159163 is a desync bug: your client thinks you are sneaking, the server disagrees for a tick, and the correction makes your model replay the crouch. You may not notice it in first person because you cannot see your own body, but everyone watching you sees the double dip. No Double Sneak fixes the animation side so observers see one clean crouch.

Verify from another player's perspective

1. Get a friend on the same server and stand a few blocks apart, both in third person.

2. Sneak repeatedly while they watch your model. Ask them to describe what they see: one crouch or two.

3. Repeat during a lag spike. Trigger one deliberately by standing near heavy redstone or a large mob cluster.

4. Swap roles so you watch them. This confirms whether the issue is server-wide or specific to your connection.

5. If their model still doubles but yours does not, they likely do not have the mod installed. The fix is client-side, so each player needs it for their own animation to look correct.

Keep expectations realistic

The mod corrects the animation, not the server's tick rate. On a badly overloaded server, movement will still feel delayed even though the crouch no longer visibly repeats.
