Use Chat in Servers and Realms

Sending Messages

Once connected to a multiplayer server or Realm, open the chat window by pressing the default chat key (T). Type your message normally. No Chat Restrictions Mod allows you to send messages even if your account would normally be restricted.

Reading Messages

With restrictions active, you might not see messages from other players in the chat window. The mod restores your ability to read all chat messages sent by other players on the server.

Important Limitations

While the mod restores your local chat functionality, remember:

• Some servers may have their own chat filters or moderation systems that operate independently
• The server owner can still mute or ban you for rule violations
• This mod only affects your client—it doesn't change how the server processes messages
• Other players will see your messages as normal if the server accepts them

Troubleshooting

If you still can't send messages after installing the mod, verify the mod is loaded in your mod menu. Check that you're using a compatible Minecraft version.
