Combining the Pack With Other Resource Packs Without Conflicts
Why Order Matters
Particle textures live in the same namespace as many other visual assets. If two packs both edit the block-break particle texture, only the topmost one in the Selected list takes effect. This pack only needs to win for that one texture.
Stacking Your Packs
In Options → Resource Packs, arrange packs so this one sits above any pack that also modifies particles but below packs you want to dominate everything else. A common setup is: your main texture pack at the bottom, this pack near the top, and any UI or font packs above both.
Testing the Result
Break several block types — dirt, stone, wood, glass — and watch for stray fragments. If fragments return, another pack above this one is supplying its own particle texture. Drag this pack higher and re-test.
When Packs Simply Won't Cooperate
Some packs bundle particle changes inside a larger archive you cannot separate. In that case, pick one: either the full pack or this one. There is no way to merge two packs that both define the same file; the higher entry always wins.
