Checking Whether No Baby Zombies Mod Conflicts With Other Mob Mods
Why conflicts happen
No Baby Zombies Mod works by stopping baby zombies and baby husks from being created. Any other mod or datapack that also touches zombie spawning, mob variants, or spawn eggs can overlap with it. When two mods fight over the same mob, you may see babies reappear or see zombies fail to spawn entirely.
Diagnosing a conflict
1. Notice the symptom. If baby zombies still spawn after installing this mod, something else is overriding the change. If normal zombies stop spawning too, a mod may be conflicting more aggressively.
2. List your mob-related mods. Look for anything that adds zombie types, changes mob AI, alters spawning rules, or edits loot tables for zombies.
3. Test in isolation. Create a fresh test world with only No Baby Zombies Mod enabled and confirm babies do not spawn. Then add your other mob mods back one at a time, checking after each, until the babies return.
4. Once you find the culprit, decide which mod you want to keep. Many mob mods have config options you can adjust to stop them from generating baby variants.
Living with both mods
If you cannot remove the conflicting mod, check its config for a setting that disables baby zombies on its side. Running both mods with matching settings usually resolves the overlap without uninstalling anything.
