Ninjago Breeze Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get a specific ninja character to spawn instead of random ones?
Use a custom name tag on a Breeze mob and name it after a ninja hero (like Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Lloyd, or Nya) to spawn that character's default suit. The name tag will randomly select from that character's available suit variants each time a new mob spawns.
What do the outfit keywords like 'kendo' and 'techno' do?
Adding outfit keywords to a name tag (for example, naming a mob 'Kai kendo') lets you summon a specific character in a specific suit from a particular season or storyline. Each keyword corresponds to a different armor style or ninja outfit variant.
Do I need to be in a trial chamber for the resource pack to work?
The resource pack works best in trial chambers since that's where Breeze mobs naturally spawn, but you can use name tags to summon ninja characters anywhere you encounter a Breeze mob or spawn one yourself with commands.
What items get retextured and what are they called now?
Breeze rods become Spinjitzu Staffs, wind charges become Spin Charges, the mace becomes the Mace of Wind, the heavy core gets a golden retexture, and the Wind Burst enchantment is renamed to Air-Jitzu. Trial keys and ominous keys are also reskinned into training keys and dojo maps.
Can I use these ninja skins as my player skin?
Yes, the resource pack includes textures that work directly as standard player skins, so you can apply any of the ninja character designs to your own character.
What's the difference between the Flow armor trim and the Zen Xtreme trim?
The Zen Xtreme trim is a retexture of the Flow armor trim inspired by the classic ZX ninja suits from the show, giving your armor a thematic ninja aesthetic instead of the default Minecraft look.
Can I summon villain characters like Garmadon or Morro?
Yes, the resource pack includes skins for extra characters like Sensei Garmadon, Morro, and other villains that you can summon using custom name tags just like the hero characters.
Will this resource pack work with other mods that change the Breeze mob?
Resource packs typically don't conflict with other mods, but if another mod significantly changes how the Breeze mob functions or its textures, visual inconsistencies may occur—test in your specific setup to be sure.
How do I know which name tags and keywords are available?
The mod includes over eighty character variants across heroes, villains, and different seasonal suits; refer to the character variants guide or try naming mobs with character names (Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Lloyd, Nya, Wu, Garmadon) and outfit keywords (kendo, techno, honor, etc.) to discover available options.
Do the retextured pottery sherds and banner patterns have new names?
Yes, the Flow and Guster pottery sherds are replaced with Cyclone and Shinobi designs, and banner patterns are updated to match the Ninjago theme for decorating your training arena.
