How to Copy the Last Screenshot to Your Clipboard

What the Copy Feature Does

Nicephore can place your most recent screenshot onto your system clipboard, so you can paste it straight into Discord, an image editor, a document, or a chat window without opening a file browser. This is the fastest path from "I just took a screenshot" to "it is now in my conversation."

Steps to Copy

1. Take a screenshot with the normal screenshot key.

2. Look at the chat — the mod's buttons appear for that capture.

3. Use the copy action (the mod provides a dedicated button or keybind for copying the last screenshot). If you do not see it in chat, check the Nicephore keybind settings and assign or confirm the copy hotkey.

4. Switch to the target application and paste with your usual paste shortcut.

Things to Know

  • The clipboard holds an image, not a file path, so pasting into a text field that only accepts text will not work — paste into an image-aware field.
  • If you take a new screenshot, the clipboard still holds the previous one until you copy again.
  • Some operating systems limit clipboard image size; if a paste fails, use the View JPEG button and upload the file instead, since the JPEG is smaller.

Copying is ideal for quick sharing; the folder button remains better for archiving.
