Create a Safe Water Source in the Nether

Choosing Your Location

Select a spot in the Nether where you want a permanent water source for building or utility purposes. Avoid areas directly above lava lakes unless you want obsidian conversion.

Placing Your Water

1. Hold a water bucket in your hand

2. Right-click on a block to place the water source

3. Unlike vanilla Minecraft, the water will remain and not evaporate into steam

4. The water will flow naturally like it does in the Overworld

Using Your Water Source

Your water can now be used for:

  • Washing away unwanted blocks
  • Creating water channels for transportation
  • Farming (if compatible with other mods)
  • Cooling nearby areas
  • Building aesthetic features

Note: The water behaves identically to Overworld water, so all standard water mechanics apply. You can create infinite water sources using the standard two-bucket method if needed.
