Using Nether Depths Blocks for Building

Available Building Blocks

The Nether Depths Upgrade adds custom ore blocks, wood variants, and decorative blocks to the Nether. These include colored wood planks, unique ore formations, and patterned blocks that don't naturally generate in vanilla Nether biomes.

Obtaining Blocks

Most blocks can be:

• Mined with appropriate tools (pickaxes for ores, axes for wood)
• Found naturally in specific Nether biomes
• Crafted from raw materials if recipes are available

Building Tips

These blocks work well for:

• Creating themed Nether bases with custom wood colors
• Building decorative structures that stand out from standard Nether terrain
• Crafting accent walls or detail work alongside blackstone and other vanilla blocks

The colored wood planks are particularly useful for adding warmth and variety to otherwise gray and red Nether landscapes. Combine them with soul lanterns or other light sources for striking visual effects.
