How to Set Up the Computer and Burn Your First Music CD

The Computer and CD Burner are the core of the Net Music mod's workflow. You need both blocks placed and powered before anything else works.

Placing and Connecting the Blocks

Place the Computer down first, then place the CD Burner directly adjacent to it. The two blocks need to be touching — if there is a gap between them, the Computer will not detect the Burner and the burning interface will not open. Once both are placed, right-click the Computer to open its GUI. You should see the CD Burner listed as an available device. If it is not listed, break and replace the Burner next to the Computer again.

Burning a Disc

Insert a blank Music CD into the CD Burner slot. The Computer interface will let you browse and select tracks from the mod's music library. When it completes, the blank disc becomes a written Music CD that you can remove and carry.

Common Failure Points

If the Computer GUI opens but shows no Burner, the blocks are not adjacent. If the burn never starts, check that a blank Music CD is actually inserted — the Burner will not begin without one. If nothing happens at all, make sure you are right-clicking the Computer and not the Burner, since the Burner is not the control block.
