Fixing the Net Music Mod When Nothing Works

The most common search around this mod is that it is not working. Almost every failure traces back to one of a few setup mistakes rather than a broken mod. Work through these checks in order.

Block and GUI Problems

If right-clicking the Computer does nothing, the block may not be placed correctly or the chunk is not loaded. If the Computer opens but the CD Burner is missing from its device list, the two blocks are not adjacent. Break the Burner and replace it touching the Computer. If the Burner GUI itself will not open, remember the Burner is not the control block — you interact with the Computer, not the Burner.

Disc and Playback Problems

If a burn fails, confirm a blank Music CD is inserted before starting. If a disc has no tracks after burning, the burn did not complete — redo it. If the Music Player is silent, check its internal volume and confirm the disc is written rather than blank. A written disc shows a track list; a blank one does not.

Configuration and Environment

Check the mod's configuration section if playback or burning is disabled entirely — some options can turn features off. Also confirm you are testing in a loaded chunk; unloaded chunks stop block interaction. If everything above is correct and it still fails, restart the game so the mod reloads its blocks and items cleanly.
