Use Fireworks Effectively During Flight
Understand Firework Timing
Fireworks boost your forward momentum while flying. Press your keybind when you need speed, not continuously—spam-clicking wastes fireworks and can cause lag. Time activations when:
- You're losing altitude and need to regain height
- You're approaching a straightaway in a race
- You need to catch up to competitors
Manage Your Inventory
Always carry enough fireworks for your flight. Keep them in an easily accessible inventory slot. If you run out mid-race, you'll lose momentum and speed. Consider stacking multiple fireworks in one slot for longer races.
Combine with Flight Mechanics
Fireworks work best when you're already airborne and moving forward. Launch from high ground or use a jump to start flight, then use your keybind to accelerate. Angling your elytra slightly downward while using fireworks helps maintain speed without losing altitude too quickly.
Practice Rhythm
Develop a consistent rhythm for pressing your keybind during races. This muscle memory will help you react faster and maintain better control than relying on right-click aiming.
