Troubleshoot Fireworks Not Activating

Verify Your Setup

Before troubleshooting, confirm:

• You have fireworks in your inventory
• You are actively flying with an elytra
• Your keybind is actually assigned (check Controls menu again)
• You're pressing the correct key

Check for Conflicts

Your keybind might be overridden by another mod or vanilla control. Open keybindings and search for your assigned key—if it appears multiple times, you have a conflict. Reassign your firework keybind to an unused key.

Verify Mod Installation

If fireworks still won't activate, the mod may not have loaded properly. Restart your game completely. If the firework keybinding option doesn't appear in your Controls menu at all, the mod installation may have failed—reinstall and restart again.

Test in Creative Mode

Switch to Creative mode with unlimited fireworks to isolate the problem. If fireworks work here but not in Survival, the issue is likely inventory-related rather than the mod itself.
