Set Up Your Firework Keybind

Access Keybind Settings

To configure your firework keybind, open your game settings and navigate to the Controls menu. Look for the Keybindings option—this is where all mod keybinds are managed alongside vanilla controls.

Assign Your Keybind

Scroll through the keybindings list until you find the firework keybinding entry added by this mod. Click on it to enter binding mode, then press the key you want to use. Common choices for elytra racing include side mouse buttons, number keys, or modifier combinations like Shift + a number key.

Choose a key that:

• Doesn't conflict with other important binds
• Is easy to reach while flying
• Won't interfere with movement keys (WASD)

Confirm and Test

Once bound, close the settings menu. Equip an elyra and fireworks in your inventory, then take flight. Press your new keybind while airborne—you should use a firework instantly without needing to right-click. If nothing happens, return to settings and verify the keybind was saved correctly.
