Fixing Nether Portal and Redstone Lamp Textures in Nautilus3D

Nether Portal

Nautilus3D retextures the Nether Portal. If your portal looks unchanged, the most common cause is a conflicting pack. Open your resource pack list and move Nautilus3D above any pack that also edits portal textures, since the higher entry wins. Then reload with the refresh option in the pack menu rather than restarting the game.

Once active, the portal surface has a different pattern and depth. Build a frame that complements it — obsidian with a stone or blackstone surround — and stand back to see the effect. Portals viewed edge-on show the texture least, so approach from the front.

Redstone Lamp

Redstone Lamps are retextured with more visible casing detail. The lit and unlit states still switch as normal. If a lamp looks wrong, confirm the block is actually receiving power — a lamp that never lights is a redstone problem, not a texture problem. Test with a lever directly on the lamp.

General troubleshooting

If only some blocks changed, another pack is overriding those specific textures. Disable other packs one at a time to find the culprit. Also make sure you are looking at the right block: Deepslate variants of ores use separate textures from the stone versions, so a Deepslate Diamond Ore will not match a Diamond Ore.
