Download and Apply Another Player's Skin

Using /getskin

The /getskin command downloads a player's current skin file, allowing you to use or share it.

Steps

1. Open chat

2. Type /getskin <username> with the player's username

3. Press Enter

The mod downloads the skin file and saves it to your client. The file is typically stored in your Minecraft directory under a folder created by the mod.

Applying the Downloaded Skin

Once downloaded, you can apply the skin through the standard Minecraft launcher:

1. Go to your Minecraft profile settings

2. Upload the downloaded skin file

3. Confirm the change

The skin will now appear on your character in-game. Note that this only changes your appearance on your client; other players see your own skin unless they also apply the same file.
