Viewing Your Skin While Wearing Armor
Why Your Skin Disappears
Vanilla armor models cover most of your character's body, hiding custom skins behind bulky plating. This resource pack redesigns all armor pieces to use minimal coverage, so your skin remains visible even when fully geared.
How to See Your Skin
1. Equip any armor piece — leather, chainmail, iron, gold, diamond, or netherite. The minimalist design will show through immediately.
2. Open your inventory to see how much of your skin is exposed. You'll notice the armor only covers essential protection areas rather than your entire body.
3. Check in third-person view (press F5) to see the full effect. The reduced bulk makes custom skin details, clothing patterns, and colors clearly visible.
4. Compare with unarmored state — you'll notice significantly more of your character model showing through compared to vanilla armor.
Tips
- The effect works best with detailed skins that have custom patterns or colors.
- Armor tier is still visually distinct by color and material, so other players can identify your protection level in PvP.
- Trim patterns remain fully visible on top of the minimal armor design.
