Getting Creeper Minions

Creeper Minions are small allied creepers you can obtain through the mod's spawn egg or by other means added by the mod. Unlike wild creepers, they follow and fight for you. Use the Creeper Minion Spawn Egg to place one directly, or check the mod's crafting for a way to produce them from Creeper Shards.

Managing Your Minions

• Minions follow you and attack hostile mobs on sight.
• They explode on contact with enemies, so keep them away from your builds and storage.
• Use the Creeper Minion Tracker to locate your minions when they wander off or get stuck.
• Creeper Shards are dropped when minions detonate; collect them for crafting.

Practical Tips

Keep a small squad rather than a large one — too many minions cause lag and collateral damage. Send them into fights ahead of you to soften bosses like the Mutant Zombie, then finish the target yourself. If a minion is lost, the tracker helps you find stragglers before they despawn. Store Creeper Shards in a dedicated chest so you always have materials for new minions or related recipes. Avoid spawning minions near villagers or pets, since their explosions do not distinguish friend from foe.
