Chemical X is crafted from ingredients dropped by vanilla mobs, so you'll need to fight Creepers, Zombies, Skeletons, and Spiders to gather the materials. Check the crafting recipe in JEI/REI once you have the components, then combine them to make Chemical X.

Use Chemical X on a vanilla mob of the matching type — for example, right-click a Creeper with Chemical X to create a Mutant Creeper. The transformation is instant and the resulting mutant is hostile, so back away before using it.

Drinking Chemical X directly applies a transformation effect to your own player, which is generally harmful and not recommended. Save it for transforming mobs instead.

You need to defeat a Mutant Skeleton and collect its dropped body parts, such as the Skull, Rib Cage, Shoulder Pad, Arms, Pelvis, and Limb. Combine those parts at a crafting table to assemble the full armor set.

The Mutant Enderman teleports and spawns Endersoul Clones and Fragments during the fight, so deal with the clones quickly before focusing damage on the boss. Ranged weapons and a safe arena help avoid its melee and teleport attacks.

The Endersoul Hand is an item obtained from the Mutant Enderman fight that lets you interact with Endersoul-related mechanics, such as teleporting or manipulating Endersoul Fragments. Check its tooltip in-game for the exact action it performs on right-click.

Creeper Minions are small allied Creepers that follow and fight for you after being spawned or tamed. Use the Creeper Minion Tracker to locate them if they wander off, and be careful — they can still explode near your builds.

Creeper Minions are created by using a Creeper Minion Spawn Egg or by transforming a Creeper with the appropriate method. Once spawned, they follow their owner and attack hostile mobs.

Mutants spawned via Chemical X are normal hostile mobs and can despawn if you move too far away or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful. Keep the area loaded and stay on at least Easy difficulty to keep them around.

Mutant Monsters generally works alongside other mob and combat mods since it adds its own entities and items without replacing vanilla ones. Conflicts are rare, but if you see missing textures or crashes, check whether another mod also modifies Creepers, Endermen, or Skeletons.
