How to Defeat the Mutant Enderman and Deal with Endersoul Clones

Understanding the Fight

The Mutant Enderman is one of the mod's toughest bosses. It teleports frequently, hits hard, and summons Endersoul Clones and Endersoul Fragments that swarm you during the fight. The Endersoul Hand item is tied to this encounter, so you will want to defeat it at least once to progress.

Strategy

• Fight in a flat, well-lit area so you can see teleport trails and avoid being cornered.
• Keep moving; standing still lets it land full combos.
• Deal with clones quickly — they are weaker than the boss but multiply the damage you take if ignored.
• Use ranged attacks or the Hulk Hammer's area effect to clear clones while chipping the boss.
• Bring golden apples or a similar healing item, plus a bucket of water to slow approaching clones.

Rewards

On death, the Mutant Enderman drops materials used for the Endersoul Hand and related crafting. Collect Endersoul Fragments left behind by clones as well, since they contribute to the same recipes. If the fight goes badly, retreat and re-engage rather than dying — the boss does not despawn quickly, and you can reset the arena between attempts.
