Add Your Own Music Files to the Game

Prepare Your Music Files

The mod accepts music in .ogg format. If your files are in .mp3 or .wav, convert them first using a free audio tool. Keep file sizes reasonable to avoid performance issues.

Place Files in the Config Folder

1. Open your Minecraft installation folder

2. Navigate to config → musicandmelody (or similar music mod folder)

3. Look for a custom_music or music subdirectory

4. Paste your .ogg files here

5. Restart Minecraft or reload the mod

Access Your Custom Tracks

Your songs should now appear in the music player menu. Open the custom playlist (default keybind varies) to queue them up. If tracks don't appear, check that:

  • Files are named without special characters
  • The .ogg format is correct
  • The folder path matches the mod's expected location

You can organize files into subfolders within the music directory for easier browsing.
