Finding and Identifying 3D Mushrooms

Locating Enhanced Mushroom Blocks

With Mushrooms Plus installed, Red Mushrooms, Brown Mushrooms, Warped Fungi, and Crimson Fungi now display in full 3D models instead of flat textures. These blocks appear in their standard biome locations:

  • Red and Brown Mushrooms: Spawn naturally in Mushroom biomes and swamps
  • Warped and Crimson Fungi: Found in the Nether's Warped and Crimson forests respectively

Recognizing the Visual Difference

Once you encounter these mushroom blocks, you'll immediately notice the enhanced detail. The 3D models give mushrooms depth and dimension—they're no longer flat sprites but sculptural forms with visible caps, stems, and texture variation.

When mining these blocks with any tool (or bare hand), they break and drop as usual, but their appearance in the world is noticeably more detailed and atmospheric. This makes mushroom biomes and Nether fungal forests feel more visually rich and immersive.

Enjoying the Aesthetic

The pack is designed purely for visual enhancement with no gameplay changes. Simply explore mushroom-heavy biomes to appreciate the improved appearance. Consider building structures or farms in these areas to make full use of the enhanced textures and models.
