How to Create a New World with Multiverse-Core
Creating the World
Multiverse-Core lets you spin up additional worlds on the same server without touching your main one. Start by giving yourself permission to run Multiverse commands (typically via your permissions plugin), then type /mv create <worldname> <environment> in chat. The world name is whatever you want to call it, and the environment is one of normal, nether, or the_end.
For example, /mv create creative_flat normal -t flat creates an overworld-style world using the flat world type. You can also pass a seed with -s <seed> and a custom generator with -g <generator> if your server has one installed.
Verifying and Visiting
After the command runs, Multiverse generates the world and reports success in chat. Use /mv list to confirm it exists, then /mv tp <worldname> to teleport yourself there. If you want it to load automatically on server start, make sure it is not set to unload; /mv modify <world> set autoload true handles that. To remove a world later, /mv delete <worldname> and confirm the prompt. Remember that deleting a world erases its region files, so back up first if the build matters.
