Understand Golem Behavior

By default, all golems are prevented from attacking creepers. This protects your buildings from explosive damage when golems defend the village. The mod automatically handles this—no setup needed.

Deploy Multiple Golems

Build several golems around your village perimeter to create overlapping defense zones. Position them near valuable structures and villager areas.

Choose Defensive Types

Consider building lapis golems to shield villagers from harmful magic, or diamond golems to strike other hostile mobs with lightning. Emerald golems heal near villagers, making them excellent long-term defenders.

Monitor and Maintain

Regularly check your golems' health and heal them with their matching materials. A well-maintained golem network will keep your village safe from most threats while preserving your buildings from creeper explosions.
