Build Your First Golem

Gather Your Materials

Choose a golem type based on the material you have most of: copper, redstone, gold, lapis, emerald, diamond, netherite, or mossy cobblestone. You'll need four blocks of your chosen material and one carved pumpkin.

Construct the T-Shape

Place your four blocks in a T formation:

• One block on the ground (the base)
• One block directly above it (the middle)
• Two blocks on either side of the middle block

This creates an upright T when viewed from above.

Summon the Golem

Place the carved pumpkin on top of the middle block. The golem will instantly spawn and begin defending the area. The pumpkin will disappear as part of the summoning.

What Happens Next

Your new golem will patrol nearby and attack hostile mobs. Each material type has unique powers—check the Golempedia in ModMenu to learn what your specific golem does best. If it takes damage, you can heal it by right-clicking with the same material you built it from.
