Customizing Train Sounds and Cabin Displays

Accessing Cabin Controls

Board your train by right-clicking the locomotive or designated passenger car. Inside the cabin, you'll find working digital displays and controller animations. These displays show information like speed, destination, and operational status. The mod's resource pack handles the visual rendering of these elements automatically.

Adjusting Audio Settings

Train sounds are tied to the resource pack's audio files. Each train model has associated sound effects for acceleration, braking, and station arrival. These play automatically as your train moves along the track. To customize which sounds play, you may need to modify the resource pack's sound configuration files, but default sounds are designed to match real Russian locomotives.

Testing Display Functionality

Run your train through a complete route to verify all cabin displays update correctly. Watch the digital readouts change as the train accelerates and decelerates. If displays aren't updating, ensure your train model supports this feature—not all included trains have functional cabin systems.
