Building Multi-Train Stations with Catenary Lines
Planning Your Station Layout
Design your station with multiple parallel tracks to accommodate several trains simultaneously. Sketch out platform positions and track spacing before building. The mod works best with organized layouts that mirror real railway yards.
Installing Catenary Infrastructure
Place catenary poles at regular intervals along each track. These overhead power line structures are essential for electric trains and define the visual character of your railway. Connect the poles with catenary line blocks to create a continuous overhead network. Ensure poles are aligned vertically and spaced consistently for a realistic appearance.
Adding Platforms and Decorations
Build station platforms using solid blocks, then add mod-provided benches, shelters, and signage. Position these elements perpendicular to your tracks. Add lighting fixtures to illuminate platforms and tracks for nighttime visibility. Use the mod's specialized station blocks rather than generic Minecraft materials to maintain visual consistency.
Spawning Multiple Trains
Once infrastructure is complete, spawn different train models at each platform. Stagger their schedules or activate them manually to create dynamic station activity. Test that trains don't collide by ensuring adequate track separation.
