Design a Multi-Stop Railway Line
Planning Your Route
Sketch out your desired stops on paper or mentally map the world. Consider distances between stations, terrain challenges, and whether you'll build new stations or use existing ones. A good line balances exploration with reasonable travel times.
Building the Line
1. Mark your stations with temporary blocks or markers
2. Lay track connecting each station in sequence
3. Ensure proper elevation—avoid steep grades that trains can't climb
4. Create clear platforms at each stop with distinct visual identity
5. Add directional signage so players know which train goes where
6. Test the full route by riding from start to finish
Enhancing Your Line
Add themed decorations at each station reflecting its purpose or location. Use different colored blocks or architectural styles to make stops memorable. Include rest areas or shops between platforms. Consider adding a station map display showing all stops and connections. Name each station clearly with signs or banners for easy navigation.
