How to Install and Control Ceiling Fans
Placing a fan
Ceiling Fans come in Light and Dark variants for each wood type. Place one on the underside of a ceiling block — it hangs down and spins. The Light and Dark versions differ only in the fan blade color, so pick whichever matches your ceiling. You can place several in a row to cool a large room.
Turning fans on and off
Right-click a Ceiling Fan to toggle it. When active, the blades spin and the fan provides its effect; right-click again to stop it. If you have several fans, toggle them individually — there is no single switch for a group, so plan your placement if you want them all controlled together.
Using fans in builds
Fans work well in kitchens, bedrooms, and covered porches. Because they mount to the ceiling, they do not take up floor space, so you can place furniture underneath without conflict. Match the fan's wood variant to the room's other furniture for a cohesive look. In a large open room, space fans evenly across the ceiling so the effect is consistent.
