How to Build Fences, Hedges, and Outdoor Features
Lattice fences
Lattice Fences and Lattice Fence Gates are crafted from your chosen wood planks. They connect to each other and to vanilla fences, so you can mix them into an existing fence line. Place a Lattice Fence Gate in a fence run and right-click it to open — it swings like a vanilla gate. Use them for garden borders, porch railings, and decorative dividers inside a house.
Hedges
Hedges are leafy decorative blocks. Azalea Hedge is a flowering variant, while the wood-named hedges give you plain green foliage. Place them in a row to make a hedge wall, or use single blocks as shrubs beside a path. They are solid blocks, so they work as low walls or garden borders.
Stepping stones and mailboxes
Andesite Stepping Stones are flat decorative blocks you place on the ground to make a path across grass or gravel. Space them out for a natural look. Put a Mailbox on a post or wall near your entrance to finish the front of the house. Together with fences, hedges, and stepping stones, these blocks let you build a complete yard around your furniture-filled interior.
