How to Build a Working Kitchen with Cabinetry, Sinks, and Cutting Boards

Laying out the kitchen

Start with a row of Kitchen Cabinetry as your base counter. Place Kitchen Drawers and Kitchen Storage Cabinets in the line to add storage — right-click them to open their inventory. Put a Kitchen Sink at one point in the counter; it needs to sit in the cabinetry row to look right. Above the counter, place Storage Cabinets on the wall for upper cupboards.

Using the cutting board

Place a Cutting Board on top of a counter block. Right-click it while holding food to place the item on the board. Some items can be chopped by right-clicking again with a tool or by interacting with the board — the result depends on what you placed. This is the mod's food-prep station, so keep it next to the sink and drawers for a realistic workflow.

Filling the storage

Right-click any Drawer, Storage Cabinet, or Kitchen Storage Cabinet to open it. These hold items like a chest but are sized to fit the furniture. Use Kitchen Drawers for small ingredient stacks and larger cabinets for bulk storage. Group similar items together so you can grab them quickly while cooking.
