Why This Beats Breaking the Boat

Normally, moving a boat over land means breaking it, picking up the item, walking, and crafting or placing it again. With Move Boats Mod you skip all of that. The boat stays intact the entire time, so any chest contents or name tags stay with it.

Step by Step

1. Walk to the boat and press Shift + right-click to lift it.

2. Turn and walk toward your destination. The boat floats ahead of you the whole way.

3. Cross grass, sand, stone, or even narrow bridges — the boat does not collide with terrain while carried.

4. When you reach the new spot, aim and right-click to place it.

Useful Situations

• Relocating a boat from a lake to a river on the other side of your base.
• Bringing a boat into an indoor dock or boathouse.
• Moving a boat up to a higher elevation by carrying it up stairs or a hill.
• Rescuing a boat that drifted somewhere awkward.

Because the boat follows your view, tight spaces like doorways can be tricky — the boat may clip visually, but it still places fine once you are through. Take it slow in cramped areas and aim carefully before right-clicking.
