Make a Specific Mob Transparent While Riding
Access the Configuration
Mount Opacity Mod stores its settings in a configuration file. Locate your mod's config folder (usually in .minecraft/config/) and find the Mount Opacity configuration file.
Adjust Individual Mob Opacity
Open the config file in a text editor. You'll find entries for different rideable mobs like horses, pigs, llamas, and camels. Each mob has an opacity value you can modify.
To make a mob more transparent:
- Lower the opacity number (closer to 0 = more transparent)
- Save the file
- Reload your world or restart Minecraft
To make a mob more visible:
- Increase the opacity number (closer to 100 = fully opaque)
Test Your Changes
Ride the mob you modified. You should immediately notice improved visibility through the mob's body. If the change isn't visible, ensure you've saved the config file and reloaded your game properly.
Each mob can be adjusted independently, so you can make horses nearly invisible while keeping pigs more opaque if preferred.
