Mosslorn Abandoned Overgrown City with Lore Map FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I start the map?
You begin inside a glass clone pod in one of the Clone Labs. Simply break out of the pod and start exploring the city. Your first goal should be to find audio logs to understand what happened to Mosslorn.
Where do I find audio logs?
Audio logs are stored in barrels and special dispensers scattered throughout the city, particularly in buildings, bunkers, and labs. Check inside structures and look for log dispensers—reading them in order reveals the full story of Delta, SAT, and the ORTHO teleportation disaster.
How do I get into the underground bunkers?
Look for hatch entrances marked on the map or visible as sealed openings in the ground and building floors. You'll need to break through or find the entrance, then prepare for flooded rooms and dark corridors below.
What are the floating sculk blocks?
Floating sculk blocks are remnants of failed teleportation experiments scattered throughout the city and sky. They don't serve a gameplay function but mark areas where the teleport technology malfunctioned and contributed to the infection.
What is The Cenotaph?
The Cenotaph is the massive moss megastructure deep underground that acts as a single connected organism. It grew from human remains and represents the final form of the infection that transformed Mosslorn's population into plant matter.
How do I reach the Mossheart?
The Mossheart is a giant floating ring located at the deepest point of the map where the infection originated. Follow the underground bunker coordinates and descend through the moss megastructure to find it.
What happens at the end of the map?
You reach a choice point where you can either jump into a portal to fight the final boss or walk away from the conflict. Your decision determines how your story in Mosslorn concludes.
Can I get lost in this map?
The city is large and complex, but landmarks like the pyramid, the ORTHO skyscraper, and the winged statue can help you navigate. Taking screenshots of coordinates from audio logs and bunker locations will help you find your way to key areas.
Do I need to find every audio log to finish the map?
No, but finding all audio logs reveals the complete story of what happened at ORTHO and why the teleportation experiment failed. You can complete the map without them, but you'll miss crucial lore details.
Why is there so much moss everywhere?
The moss is a parasitic organism that grew from the bodies of people killed or transformed by the failed teleportation experiment. It spread across the entire city and now forms The Cenotaph, a massive underground network that controls the infection.
