Trade with them repeatedly like any vanilla villager; each trade fills their experience bar and promotes them to the next tier. Higher tiers unlock better trades from that profession.
Can I disable a specific profession I don't want?
Yes, the mod's configuration file lets you toggle individual professions on or off. Edit the config and reload so those villagers stop spawning or being obtainable.
How do I stop More Villagers villagers from spawning in my world?
Use the mod's spawn configuration options to disable natural spawning for the professions you don't want. This is separate from disabling the profession itself, so check both settings.
Will More Villagers conflict with other villager mods?
It generally works alongside vanilla-friendly villager mods, but two mods adding professions can compete for the same unemployed villager. If a villager takes the wrong job, isolate the workstation you want them to claim.
Does More Villagers hurt performance or cause lag?
The mod itself is lightweight, but large trading halls with many villagers and workstations can cause lag from pathfinding and tick updates. Keep your hall compact and avoid overcrowding to stay smooth.
