Maximizing Wood Production with Giant Trees

Choosing High-Yield Tree Types

All giant tree variants produce significantly more wood than their normal counterparts. Dark oak and giant oaks tend to have the thickest trunks and most branches, making them excellent for wood farming. Cherry and mangrove giants also yield substantial amounts.

Setting Up a Tree Farm

Designate an area with appropriate biome conditions for your chosen tree type. Plant multiple saplings in rows, spacing them so they don't interfere with each other's growth. The mod keeps vanilla growth mechanics, so trees will grow naturally without special conditions.

Harvesting Workflow

Build a permanent scaffold or platform system around your farm to make repeated harvesting safer and faster. Use an Efficiency-enchanted axe to speed up wood collection. Collect saplings as you harvest to replant immediately and maintain continuous production.

Store harvested wood in organized chests nearby. Consider setting up a crafting area to convert logs into planks on-site, reducing storage space needs.
