How to Find and Beat Team Aqua in the Overworld and Team Magma in the Nether

The pack splits the two evil teams across dimensions on purpose, and knowing which team lives where saves a lot of wandering.

Team Aqua: Overworld

Team Aqua members are placed in the Overworld. Look for them as trainer NPCs you can challenge directly. Because they are surface-side, you can encounter them during normal exploration, which makes them a good early target if you want to farm unlocks before committing to harder leagues.

Team Magma: Nether

Team Magma is hidden down in the Nether. You will need a working portal and Nether-ready gear before you can even reach them, and fighting there means dealing with lava, hostile mobs, and cramped terrain on top of the battle itself. Clear a safe arena near their spawn point before you engage so a stray Ghast or lava pool does not end your run.

Preparing for both

All of these trainers use maxed EVs and IVs, so treat them like gym leaders, not route trainers. Bring a full party, healing items, and a Pokémon that can handle their signature types. Defeating these groups feeds into the pack's unlock system, so clearing them opens up harder challenges and additional leagues later.
